SERVICES

Chimney Sweep & Inspection

Keep your home safe and cozy by having regular chimney cleanings for wood burning stoves, inserts and open fireplaces. I will make sure that the soot is cleared out of the pipe to avoid dangerous build up that cause flu fires.

We also provide Chimney Inspections for property managers and realtors.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

If your dryer is not running well, your vents may have a lot of lint blocking the air flow. Make sure that your dryer vents are lint free.

Too much lint in those ventilation pipes can also cause fires. Keep things optimized by scheduling a dryer vent cleaning today.

Pellet Stove Chimney Sweep

I can also clean the chimney pipes for pellet stoves.

I do not maintain the stove itself. But can remove all soot from the pipe and cap.

Chimney Pipe and Crown Repair

Crown Repair

If your masonry chimney is old, it is likely that it has been weathered, or may have moss growing in the mortar cracks. This is an indication of moisture getting into the chimney. We can provide chimney mortar and crown repair. As well as flu liner replacement, and provide new caps to keep the birds out, and the sparks in.

Chimney Pipe Repair

After years of being in the open air. Weather can take it’s toll on chimney pipes. Rust can start to form, and eat through the pipes, which weakens the metal, and lets water into the house, and rust the inside chimney pipes.

We can replace these with new or refurbished pipe to make sure your chimney engine has the proper airflow and works as it should.

Avoid Chimney Fires by Regular Cleanings

Dangerous creosote build up can cause chimney fires if not cleaned regularly. Here is a photo of a flue liner completely full of creosote. This customer had a chimney fire the night before she called me. It had been two years since her last chimney sweep. She uses her fireplace a considerable amount. Fortunately, she was able to put the fire out, but it still had not burned through the entire flue liner.

I cleaned everything out, and reinforced the crown with CrownCoat, and weather proof sealant to give it years of more life.
